Father in law had a surgery so I got to pick up his camper and take it from the shop to the storage lot. A lot of truck and a LOT of camper, longest and heaviest I’ve ever run. Surprisingly easy though, it was easier for me to judge my corners in this than the Hi-Lo.
In other news, we still have the Hi-Lo. If it’s not sold by Friday we’re trading it in at roughly 50% book value. So, if’n any of y’all’ns want it, cash is king and I’m ready to move

Did you remember to get the horses as well?

That fifth wheel maxes the truck out as is. HEAVY mf’er

5th wheels pull pretty nicely, but for backing up into spaces, I prefer regular “bumper pull” travel trailers. Putting the pivot point behind the truck’s axle makes them easier to fine-tune maneuvers IMO.

I prefer my bumper pull for that reason as well. Trying to back that fifth wheel into its slot at the storage yard was “fun”
